Game of Thrones – everybody is talking about it and it is impossible that you still have not heard of it. This famous TV show which airs on HBO is all over the Internet. Anyone who watches the Game of Thrones will easily have some character to relate to. And in this show, women have been given of more character than other typical shows. As Martin once stated in the interview, he was able to write female characters very well since he treated them as actual people. Every character is definitely somebody to root for. In fact, even the evil characters will have even a small fan base of their own.
Excellent casting
Of course, what would characters be without their actors and actresses? Game of Thrones has assembled a cast of excellent and extraordinary individuals. Okay, first of all, there is the people favorite, Peter Dinklage, who definitely added more character to TyrionLannister. And then there is also another crowd favorite, Emilia Clarke who starred as the Dragon Queen. Aside from her excellent acting skills, she’s also adored for her beautiful eyebrows as well as her sexy body. Then of course, there is Jack Gleeson who definitely played the evil Jeoffrey Baratheon with so much character that even some fans start to hate him in real life.
Awesome CGI
The CGI in Game of Thrones is definitely one of the factors that contributed to its success. In fact, the show has won Outstanding Special Visual Effects from the Creative Arts Emmy Awards twice – in 2012 and in 2013. Since the show features dragons as well as scary Whitewalkers, a lot of budget really has to be allotted in CGI. CGI is also mainly responsible for scenes that required thousands of soldiers in the battle field.
